press for the “One Spring Away” video

By Roni Brunn | November 24, 2008 | From, News

The commercial mash up I did for “One Spring Away” is getting some really nice mentions, and I’m hugely grateful and flattered.

First Maura Johnston, one of my fav music writers, posted about it in Idolator.

Then the video appeared in a bunch of amazing blogs about advertising.  I follow quite a few of these blogs, so it’s really really splendid to see my piece up there.  Yay!

Big thanks go out to these blogs for posting about the video:

Chanel coins by Karl Lagerfeld

By Roni Brunn | November 21, 2008 | News

Karl Lagerfeld designed 5 euro coins to commemorate Coco Chanel on the 125th anniversary of her birth.  There are four types, two each in silver and gold.  The most expensive style, in gold, cost €5,900.  All 99 of the 5 ounce gold coins are already sold out, but the collection will reportedly go on sale at Chanel stores on December 1.  Lagerfeld relates the launch to the current economic situation with his usual wit, “There might be less of it, but money can still be beautiful.”

Park Hotell – “Pandemonium Ducks”

By Roni Brunn | November 20, 2008 | News

Love love pop shoegazers Park Hotell, and I’m so happy whenever “Pandemonium Ducks” comes on my Swedish radio stream.

MP3: Park Hotell – “Pandemonium Ducks”

It’s from their album Free for Friends, which you can get at CDON or It’s a Trap.

Speaking of Swedish radio, try it here by clicking on the orange button saying “P3 Svea direkt.”
