I haven’t posted new photos since September at the latest, and it’s not for a lack of shoots. Oh, I’ve done shoots. Just don’t think that posting the pics would work for what I’m trying to do here.
Maybe I should have researched more before getting in front of the camera. Just now I found an Amazon list called “Best Indie Female Singers (In no order),” and here are some images of the featured artists:

Bangs are optional, but shrugging isn’t. I didn’t know. I was just being myself/trying my best, and this is what happened:
Mine is clearly not a fit with that list.
Maybe I should have looked back to Nico and Kim Gordon for inspiration. I owe them a lot musically.

Can you even imagine a shrug from Kim Gordon? Or Nico? Nico’s got her hand near her face, but it’s nothing like the Jenny Lewis or Zooey Deschanel poses. It’s all power with Nico.

So, yeah, new photos… They’ll be here once there’s a new shoot or someone else running the site or I communicate very clearly how absurd I’m finding this whole thing.
