John Nouanesing’s Love Me Table
Alas, John Nouanesing’s drip table is merely a concept now, so don’t count on having it home for the next dinner party/round of Clue. I’d love to see a series of these pieces. The form makes the color very evocative — the table would look like melted vanilla ice cream in white but certainly doesn’t look very pure in red.
The premise reminds me of John Brauer’s Grand Illusion table:
It’s handmade from 3mm thick PMMA acrylic.
While we’re all waiting for the Love Me table to enter production, you can get the Grand Illusion table for $440 at Design Public (great site, great guys).
