I really want this gold banana bud vase, but it might be too much of a conversation piece.  I just like shiny gold objects, and I have none that are big enough to put on a shelf.  Not sure this one would work anyway.  It’s only 6″ tall.  I feel impolite pointing that out.

It’s also available in high gloss silver, matte black and matte white.  In a group, they look like abstract, headless seals.  The flowers are kind of like the beach balls seals perform with.  I’d def skip the circus reference:

That can’t not be compared to the Velvet Underground cover art.  I can’t speculate about the consequences of collecting sculptures of your fav albums as décor.

I’d be fine.  Gold bananas work for me better than symbolism/metaphors/symbolism.
