Karl Lagerfeld x Hogan – “La Letter”
Karl Lagerfeld wrote and directed “La Lettre,” a nouvelle vague-style short for the launch of of his collab with Hogan, and he shot it in an afternoon. I’m usually not a fan of fashion shorts, but this film is highly watchable. The first minute is like a high fashion comedy sketch, which makes me wish for an SNL x Lagerfeld short. Plus Baptiste Giabiconi can pull off some acting. Karl reminds us this is a work of fiction by [spoiler alert] rolling on as a model abruptly leaving his shoot. The model is played by model Magdalena Frackowiak.
