Louis Vuitton x Target – SS11
Designer collabs have been pretty hot in the last few seasons, and it’s always exciting to hear of new ones launch. The Lanvin x H&M collection now seems to be the most hotly anticipated collab, but maybe that’s because the fashion media largely ignored some hints at Vuitton‘s SS11 presentation.
Would have been easy to miss this leak; it was embedded in a rich, stimulating collection of 1930s French orientalism x 1970s glam. This presentation was easily one of my favorites in a stellar season.
Marc Jacobs showed lots of smaller bags, key this season. On one group of clutches, a new Vuitton logo was embroidered/beaded, its O, a target logo. Not clear whether or not these will be sold at Target or will serve as the inspiration for the LV x Target range, should one emerge. Here are the rest of the pieces:
