Marcel Wanders x MAC
One of my favorite designers, Marcel Wanders, collaborates with MAC on a limited edition collection under the annual luxe edition. Known for his work with Droog and Moooi, Wanders’ surreal pieces meld classical motifs into modern design iconography.
The makeup range includes lipsticks, glosses, powders, a new mascara, a brush, a clutch, and the Air of Style Scent Concentrate. The brush and the powder look the most Wanders to me. The brush’s handle is carved like a component from a traditional wooden chair, and the powder’s surface looks like the inside of Wanders’ Skygarden lamp.
The collection will be available from November 24 to December 26 at MAC stores and counters.
