Oskar Zieta – Collection, Beta, Limited

Polish designer Oskar Zieta uses the FIDU technique to inflate steel into rubber toy-like forms.  The results have a lot in common with Jeff Koons‘ metal inflatable-toy-looking sculptures.  Zieta takes pushes this technique to create some of the most innovative furniture around.  I love it, and not just because the Chippensteel chair comes in shiny gold (above).
