Ooh, these are scary.  You’d think beheaded snakes wouldn’t look so menacing (to me), but replacing the venomous end with blazing flames doesn’t really alleviate the threat.  Plus the tails look like they’re mid-wiggle.  Bad news.

These candlesticks were made by glassblower Jeff Zimmerman, whose work often dynamic forms from nature and sets them askew through a modern baroque interpretation.  These candlesticks come in black, white, and clear glass, all colors that go okay with the googly eyes I’d put on them.  To make them less scary.
