Versace x Rosenthal
I’m a pretty strict, exacting minimalist, so it was tough for me to admit to myself that I love Versace china. It all worked out because love feels better than logical consistency, as does breaking rules. Rosenthal makes this amazingly ornate line of china, and the pieces are refined, lavish, and loud as hell.
There’s also a Versace mod black and white range, but I prefer these intricate patterns from further back in history. (The mod plates are square shaped, and they look like they’re trying too hard to stay current.) I also like these pieces better than anything I’ve seen at castles. Strong statement! I love castles!
