From makes the best surreal indie pop that comes from Beverly Hills. The band sounds like Nico + Kraftwerk on a Magical Mystery Tour, and the blog covers design, advertising, Swedish music, and post meta fun times.
Visual artists Fernanda Viégas and Martin Wattenberg did the research to find out some answers. They analyzed 1000 songs in various genres and charted references to body parts. Gospel references the body the least and hip hop the most. About 1 in 4 hip hop songs has a back/ass/butt reference, though perhaps I’ll leave it to other lyricists to come up with the best term.
